Stories: Jade
There are a lot of stories told by collosphinxes about the ones that lived before. This one has been used in parts many times in human stories too. Not all of it is known, but what IS known is right here:
... She ran through the trees, once her home, now reaching out to tear her apart. How could I have been so stupid? she thought as tears streamed down her face. Jade was normally fast, but the betrayal had drained her powers, although that could have been caused by the spell she had just cast.
Jade could hear the angry townspeople close behind. She was grateful for the fact it was night. The dark of the night and woods and the noise the town was making searching for her made it easier to run without them locating her. She couldn't keep it up, though. She was fading fast.
If only he had not have been so strong she glowered at the thought of the attack. Maybe then I could have defeated him without revealing my powers. Now they think I'm a witch!
Suddenly, she felt a hand grab her and pull her up into a tree. Her scream was stifled by another hand covering her mouth.
"It's all right. It's just me." Her sister! "We've got to get out of here. They'll find you before long."
Much as she hated to, Jade had to agree with Ammarice. There was no way she could ever be accepted here again...
That's as far as the known story goes, but there are some story fragments that may be part of this story, the stories of Retallia and Sarabeth among them.
